Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Our room was quite charming, even elegant. The staff were very helpful and personable. Bkfst. Was very good. The location can't be beat.
NA

While the room was on the small side, it was charming. We were not on the canal which was a plus as a gondola station is just outside the hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly in a low-keyed way. The location can't be beat; just a few minutes walk from the vaporetto stop. If we return to Venice, we'll be staying at this hotel.

Best location, service, and value! All around great 3 star choice!
Nothing.

Perfect location close enough to Piazza San Marco w/o the noise & beautiful views of the adjacent canal from our lobby terrace. Amazing value beautiful 3 star hotel including yummy breakfast where they will make you your own cup of espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc. Yes, the rooms are smaller than we're accustomed to in other cities, but this is the case with rooms in Venice. Trust me, the room size is plenty large enough to accomplish what you need in a room. In Italy, a 'double' bed is 2 twin beds together (yes, a 'king' as it is known in the states). Wonderful service not only did the staff accommodate us with a late check in (around 1 am), they printed out maps and highlighted directions to restaurants and places of interest we wished to find. Don't waste your money on any other hotel in Venice. This is the best value for your money you can find! ...read more

The location was excellent, as was the view from our room, overlooking a canal and small piazza.
The staff was rude and unfriendly.

Overall, I very much enjoyed staying at this hotel, just two short blocks from Piazza San Marco and major ferry and transportation connections. Our view from corner room was fabulous and really a highlight of staying there. The hotel staff was helpful but inexplicably rude. However, it didn't really detract much from the experience. Venice is spectacular and this is one of the very best and most convenient locations from which to explore. A rollaway bed cost an additional 30 euro per night. I highly recommend taking a water taxi to the hotel from the airport which will take 30 minutes and cost 110 euro (split by up to 5 passengers). The Alilaguna ferry for 15 euro each will take at least 1.5 hours to get to Piazza San Marco and as much as 2 or 2.5 hours depending on demand and schedule. Don't miss a whole afternoon waiting around at the airport.

location close to St. Marks. Gondola station outside the front door
Gondoliers sometimes too noisy outside. 6 Euros per hour of internet is too much

Excellent location, great breakfast, friendly desk crew, and it has an elevator. I would recommend this hotel to most couples and families.
