Hotel Guest Reviews of the Rouge, A Kimpton Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The customer service was very friendly helpful and proffessional . The location was quiet and yet still walking distance to most sights and restaurants.
Could have been a bit closer to public transit . Our tub had some minor water draining issues

The staff were friendly and gave great suggestions on local places to eat. The complimentary wine hour every night was a great way to relax after a day of sightseeing and a good way to meet other people staying at the hotel.
Breakfast is only included for guests that book through kimptons website. Wifi was spotty throughout the hotel. The carpets in the hotel rooms needed a good cleaning, but every other aspect of the hotel room was clean.

Cute boutique hotel near dupont circle metro station. Only 5 miles from reagan airport. Clean public spaces and complimentary wine hour every evening. Great hotel staff!

Room was clean, large and comfortable. Internet was fast, but required a signup before using.
I believe the hotel rating should be closer to three stars, instead of 3.5. There was alot of traffic noise on the street. The location is a long walk from the downtown DC area and metro station. The design of the rooms is a bit funky.

The hotel appears to be an old apartment building that was renovated into a hotel. Checkin and Checkout was fast.

The hotel was surprisingly well maintained and clean. The room was pretty good and the location is easy to find. Tonn of road side parking if in case one doesn't want to use the hotel parking (which is a little pricey)
Wi-fi , parking or breakfast is not included. There are a lot of places close by for parking and breakfast so that shouldnt be a big negative. Wi-fi is provided for 12$ a day which is not bad. The speeds were reasonable as well.

Location was good. It was a short enough distance to walk to and from Dupont Circle and the Metro station. The "Wine Hour" each night was great. Got to mingle and talk with other guests. The staff were friendly and helpful.
