Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hotel Opera

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Daniel at reception was extremely helpful and pleasant. The location of the hotel is great. It's a very short walk to the Royal Palace and other places of interest.
Breakfast was OK but a bit uninspired.

Staff very helpful in assisting with making reservations for flamenco show.
Fire alarm went off twice during the middle of the night and once during the late afternoon.

Good location, and great breakfast.
Rooms were just a big box, no character, needed a little TLC.

Although clean with a good location, the hotel rooms are characterless, plain boxy rooms. The food in the restaurants is very good. Try their operetta show and meal. The breakfast is very generous and tasty.

Excellent location
Subway runs under the hotel so on the low floor you could hear the constant rumbling of the trains

I was very happy with our decision to stay at Hotel Opera. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were given a room as soon as we arrived (10:00am), although it was off season. The rooms were small, but clean. Had everything we needed; in-room safe, internet, great full breakfast. Location was ideal and felt very safe. Great value.

Good location.
The walls were paper thin so it was quite loud.

Good location right by the palace and the opera. The walls were paper thin, so it was quite loud and easy to be woken up. Also, not many rooms have double beds (mostly twins). Had to beg to get a double.

Bed was comfortable.
Way too much street noise.

Hotel facilities, location and staff were very nice. However, the noise from the street was overwhelming at all hours of the day and night. Party noise all night, followed by garbage trucks, followed by construction with jack hammers directly below my 2nd floor window. Because I was staying only 2 nights and needed a triple room I did not ask for a room change.
