The service by the evening host at the bar and the middle eastern elder bell hop.
Unclean and very dated room, more like two star or less

Good location need friendlier and more helpful concierge. Better housekeepers who clean the room with attention to details, hair in shower unclean toilet, room had bad Oder. Pretty good location.

Doorman was very nice and friendly. Please use valet parking if you are not used to Montreal parking (see below) the price was almost negligible compared to all day parking. Location was great, walking distance to most stores and Simon's on St.Cats.
The parking garage was very tight, two way lanes really only fit one and it was compounded by the fact we drove a van. Bottled water in the cooler was really expensive, complimentary would be nice. Construction on Sherbrooke sometimes made harder to enter

Hotel staff overall was very accommodating, polite cleaning and concierge staff. No free breakfast (that would have been appreciated) but get the buffet instead as its only a dollar or two off from a la carte of what you would eat anyhow. Travelled with in-laws, seniors, a 20-something brother-in-law and a 1-year old and we still found the rooms to be great for all involved.

The location of this hotel was great. It was very convenient to get around.
What was a downfall about the hotel was that because we were booked through a third party, we were not guaranteed a standard room with a king or double bed. The first night we were there, they gave us a room with a sofa bed. It was uncomfortable and loud.

Along with the squeaky sofa bed we noticed the walls were greasy and had prints all over them making it sort of gross. When they finally switched us over to a room with a king size bed, the bathroom was not very up to par. The toilet seat had black and brown stains on it. Not sure what it was but it was not very pleasant to look at. Besides the uncomfortable sofa bed and dirty walls/toilet, I would say the hotel isn't bad other wise.
