Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hotel Milo - Formerly Hotel Oceana

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Only decent thing was the quietness
Staff was very rude , parking was 18 dollars a night , room was tiny n seemed to have a sewage problem , no hot breakfast at all . Save yourself the money n check elsewhere .

Overpriced , pictures do it more justice then it deserves !

Location on the beach was excellent. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
One lamp in the room was missing the knob for the switch.

location was great. But defenitley did not meet our expacations of a 3 1/2 star. Dated and in need of repairs. Putting colorful rugs in a room does not make it "trendy" it just made it look not up to date.
outdated décor, beds not very comfortable, no room service and no pay per view to order movies

Staff were very friendly and helpful (front desk)
Rooms are very basic. This is not a 3.5 star hotel. It should be marketed as such.

Looks really nice from the outside but inside needs some work (especially hotel rooms)

Location and value.
Staff on 2nd day not accommodating at all. Locked out of our room, had to walk from furthest building to office twice for key then again for credit card for "incidentals" which were never used but charged. Not a pleasant experience overall.

Location across the street from the beach and convenient to State Street.
Couch was literally thread bare and looked like they had picked it up after someone discarded it. The "hotel" is really a series of disjointed motels. There is poor cross ventilation and I felt uncomfortable about leaving 1st floor windows open.

Parking is convenient but seems to be a rip off at $18/day when there is adequate street parking.

Really nicely renovated and great location. Staff went above and beyond to help get us on a great wine tour at the last minute. Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise.
Noise of freight trains during the night.

The location is great.
Partial ocean view rooms have peekaboo views. There is NO AC! I arranged for a 1:09 checkout but four separate people knocked on the door between noon and one.

This is a beautiful hotel with a $12 resort fee and $18 parking fee. At $300 a night these charges seem out of place. The green space is shared with dog owners from the condos next door with predictable consequences. The location can't be beat.
