Mattress was cheap and uncomfortable. Room smelled heavily of stale cigarette smoke. The food at the in house restaurant was terrible.

The free airport shuttle was very convenient. Just make sure to make a reservation with the front desk. I liked that the rooms were clean.
I wish the hotel had more amenities in the bathroom. A bar of soap would have been nice instead of the soap dispenser on the wall.

Excellent wifi. Delicious breakfast. Free shuttle to and from airport much appreciated. Free shuttle to and from downtown Madrid was also really nice. Very nice hotel. Loved the view of downstairs from hallway.
Some things not provided such as wash cloths and conditioner but that's a Spanish thing.

That it was close to the airport and had a free shuttle service. And then I wasn't expecting how nice the hotel was going to be. It definitely exceeded my expectations.

So clean! Very comfortable bed! They offer "pillow service", which admittedly is a little ridiculous, as you call and order what type of pillow you prefer from a menu. All staff was wonderful and accommodating.
Close to airport. Not neat city centre. Shuttle on weekends to city does not leave you in a desirable tourist spot. More like the Rodeo Drive of Madrid.
