Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hotel Lincoln

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

This hotel was really quaint. Hipster-esc but really has character. Food there as well as bar were expensive, but think it is average for the hotel. Staff knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful.
Only downfall was it's proximity to the trains in Chicago made too far to walk in the cold weather to and from.

Chicago History Museum and Lincoln Park Zoo are RIGHT across the street. I felt totally safe in this part of Chicago and that made it nice.

Staff was great, very cool look and feel. Brunch was awesome, wish we had eaten dinner there.
Room was a little small but not bad.

The staffing was incredible. I'll refer this to others. I also loved the restaurants attached.
Ummm, maybe the elevator took a while?

Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Public spaces in the hotel were amazing. The coffee shop was great and the J. Parker Rooftop bar was visited nightly. The view from our room of Lincoln Park Zoo and the lake were great.
Room could have used a good cleaning and refresh in some areas. Carpet was a little dirty, some furniture and fixtures had damage that hadn't been repaired (tear in curtains, chip and splinter in AC unit cover)

Friendly, accomodating staff
Parker, the rooftop bar, is overpriced and overheated. And, please, do give your guests separate plates rather than make them share one.

Conveniently located close to bus lines. it would be nice to have a transit map available at the hotel including the names of the stops. The maps at the bus stops are printed so small that they are almost illegible. Rooms are nicely furnished and the linens are great.

Hotel staff was amazingly friendly and so helpful. Also the location, just steps away from the beautiful Lincoln Park and zoo!

The staff was helpful but not overbearing.
No

Even though the room was small it functioned well and was nicely appointed. The décor was eclectic and fun...not your standard hotel décor . The beds and sheets were very comfortable. The rooftop lounge was swanky and worth a visit (although kind of expensive.)

This is an old hotel that was remodeled using 60 style furniture and décor. It is a nice place, with a nice atmosphere. The staff is superb and very helpful. The downstairs coffee shop is second to non. Very nice.
Rooms are a bit small and if you are there for business you will be better of to go to the lobby or coffee shop to work. More roomy.

ITs locatios is very good. You can have nice long walks to different areas of the city and it is one block north of Wells St. Where you can find numerous stores, diners, bars and restaurants.

Great rooftop bar. And the staff was very nice and accommodtating
The size of the room was very small. Much smaller than I expected for a 4-star facility in a prime location
