Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hotel Giotto Flavia

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The breakfast was an amazing and pleasant surprise! Staff was also very helpful, and although the location isn't central, for the price it is a perfect combination between being accessible to the train station & in a safe area.
The WiFi was difficult to access sometimes. Also, the windows in the two rooms we were in opened onto a balcony accessible by an apartment on the same space, so we always had to keep them closed.

Unfortunately when we arrived our original room had some problem (not sure what it was), so we had to spend our first night in a room with separate twin beds. However, they were extremely nice about the whole situation, moved our luggage for us the next day, and put us in a larger room for the rest of our stay, so it worked out. The facilities are what you'd expect for a 2 star hotel, maybe even a bit nicer. It was also very nice that the entrance to the building is used by a number of similar small hotels, so is open 24 hours, has an elevator, and you don't have to deal with the awkwardness of a residential building entrance (which is common in Rome). As I mentioned earlier, breakfast in the room was a very pleasant surprise, absolutely started our days there off right. There is also an excellent deli just down the street with wonderful food if you decide to stay close to the hotel for dinner one night. ...read more
