Great location. Short walk to Michigan Avenue and the El Train station. Excellent customer service with very friendly staff.
Rooms are extremely small. Definitely not very conducive if traveling with a family.

The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, and the location was good.
It's star rating. A four star hotel has a restaurant, normal sized rooms, in other words - a full service hotel. Such as the Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Marriott on the mag mile, The Hilton, Hyatt. The Hotel Felix is NOT a four star hotel.

The Hotel Felix should be rated a 3 1/2 star hotel or even a 3 star hotel because of it's VERY small rooms, no restaurant, and just how small it is.

I chose this hotel for location and price. The room while not huge was nicely appointed. The staff provided a small fridge upon request. Also, one day when it was raining, they provided an extra umbrella for us.
There were no coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

This hotel is convenient to the CTA, both train and bus lines. The wi-fi was excellent.

the hotel was quiet and the staff was very pleasant. There was free wi-fi and free coffee in the lobby (but not in the room).
The room was tiny 9' x 11'. There was no place for luggage and definitely not large enough for 2 people. There was no parking and valet was $55/day.

Could not fine parking rate anywhere on their website and was shocked upon arrival to find $55.rate off property. Bellman and Parking valet did not get along and were unprofessional in their customer service.

One hour after departing hotel and driving thru city I realized a bag was missing..bellman had left it in storage room even after I had given him the tickets. Had to turn around and drive back into city to retrieve bag. Not happy with loosing two hours of drive time!!

The location
Had to wait a long time to check in, there was no one at desk for about 10 minutes. The shower kept going on and off through the night. There was also no toilet paper in the room. I had not noticed until I was in an uncomfortable position.

The rooms are very small, not sure if it fits into the star rating category.

Nice down town location. Quiet clean rooms but small.
Hard to get bellman because he was always somewhere else. Coffee in the lobby was nice but would have been better in the room.

The staff was incredibly knowledgeable of the area and offered many excellent suggestions for restaurants and tours. m We were out most of the time so the location and the travel advise were more important to us than the room size.
The room was very, very small. It was hard to organize our luggage. It worked because we were there just 3 nights. There was no chair in the room except the desk chair which was comfortable.

Its a beautiful hotel in a great location. We had to do valet parking as the self-serve garage was closed?? Still the staff was always friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable which helped since the only option was a queen sized bed and only a desk chair.
