It was tastefully and authentically decorated. The bathroom was tiled, clean, great high ceilings. Friendly staff, who spoke English.
Nothing bad to say!

We highly recommend this hotel! Great breakfast (included in the price) and friendly desk staff. The rooms are spacious and lovely.

Extremely friendly staff. So helpful, welcoming, and kind! Asked for a double room with two separate beds and they upgraded us to a huge triple.
Shared bathroom was tiny. But you have a sink and mirror in your own room. Free breakfast was just 'OK' but still amazing price for room!

The room was beautiful and the staff was very helpful.
The location is a bit lonely at night. Farther walk to the city center than anticipated (15 min).

Loved this hotel. Nice room with a view to greenery. The area is a bit lonely at night however. About a 15-20 min walk to the city center depending on your pace.

Owner was helpful, breakfast was good
Location could be a little better, downstairs bathroom very small.

While relatively close to the train station, this hotel is a bit in the opposite direction of most of Florence's main attractions. Not to say that this is a problem, as the walk is quite simple and the hotel staff are generally very friendly and helpful (although the gentleman working the night shift didn't seem to have his information correct regarding the city's museums, but fortunately we weren't affected by that). As far as the hotel itself, the rooms were a little old, but acceptable (could've used a few extra power outlets). We were originally on the first floor with a shared bathroom that turned out to be tiny, so we sprung to switch to an upstairs room, which improved the bathroom situation exponentially. Wifi is pretty good, as is the breakfast. more

The staff was wonderful and location was perfect.

The hotel room does not give you the full comfort of a Hilton, but if you are looking for an authentic Italian style, I would recommend this hotel. There was a neat old-fashioned elevator and the staff helped us with our luggage to our room. The man at the desk was very helpful and kind. Very nice place to stay in Florence. Had no bad experiences.
