Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hotel 140

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Within walking distances to Fenway Park, Beacon Hill, Little Italy, Freedom Trail and the T station.
The room was very small compared to other hotel rooms. No closet or storage area so all of your things end up in your suitcase on the floor.

Was perfect for what I needed, a room for one night that was a clean bed and clean bathroom at a good rate. Nothing luxurious about the room, bathroom was tight, particularly the shower but for what I paid and given everything else was clean it was fine.

Great location, I would not book this if you have more than 2 people per room. Definitely not a hotel you want to bring kids to if you plan on having them stay in your room. Also there really was no lounge area other than a small sitting area in the lobby. If you are staying in this hotel it should be because it is great location and things were very clean which is always my concern when staying at a place that is not a Marriott, Westin type. ...read more

The best part of the stay was the location to down town Boston. Accross the street is a Flour Bakery that has a great breakfast sandwich and terrific baked goods.
There was no closet space the room was exceptionally small. Could not view TV from second bed. The request for a room with two doubles added an additonal $40.00 to the bill. I would not recommend this hotel.

Great location, hotel is a converted YWCA, rooms were the size of a dorm room. Vertually no closet. No valet service,

Great location.
I think the building shares with regular residents. Lots of common areas are worn down.

Great location. That's it.

Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to find out I got an upgrade to a studio. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect.

Very short cab ride (less than 15 min) from Logan airport. Staff is very friendly and helpful. An easy walk to Fanuiel Hall and other downtown attractions. Stayed in room 1212 which had a kitchen. I would definately stay here again.

The room was cozy and the staff were super nice.
The room and the shower was a tad narrow. Other than that, bright, comfy, and clean.

Good location. Bathroom was clean. Had flat screen tv.
Room was tiny. No closet to hang clothes. Had to switch rooms. New room was a little better, had space to hang clothes.

Rooms are tiny. Good for one person. It's actually a YWCA with residents on top floors. Second room we were switched to was a little bigger then first. Bathroom was good, shower only no tub. Good location. Two blocks to Boylston and Newberry Streets. The Back Bay station is on the block as well as parking lot.
