Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Rome-Eur Parco Dei Medici

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

I have stayed at this hotel every time I have traveled to Italy for the past 10 years and would not stay in the future. It is overpriced for the location and services. Also, shuttle is only complimentary from the airport, but charge a fee for transfers to the airport. Limited shuttle schedule that cost me a 40 euro taxi fee from the airport and then a fee for the hotel shuttle to the airport. I arrived early evening and the room service telephone was busy for over 1 hour and waited an additional 45 mins once the my order was placed. Room service fees are extremely overpriced (50 Euro for one person/ 1 meal with side salad and bottle of water). There is only one pizzeria nearby, but only opens at 7:30, otherwise inconvenient for any locations. Hotel hasn't changed in over 10 years and by now I would have expected upgrades or and updated atmosphere. I would not recommend staying here if you don't have business in the area. There are much better hotels if you are looking to stay near the airport.

Great room size and proximity to train station.
In the middle of nowhere, and excessively expensive food.

Nice rooms and elevators, like an American hotel. The problem is you cannot even order a delivered pizza because nothing is close to it, only office buildings.

For the price and location of hotel it is reasonable. In terms of quality and service of hotels generally, it is very poor for a Rome hotel.

Rooms were very nice and the dinner buffet was great.
It's not close to anything.

Nice rooms, nice pool area. The staff at the restaurants were awesome. Of couple of the check in people were not very friendly. It took about 20 minutes to check in, they need more people on.

Clean and convenient location, close to public transportation.
Not very friendly and helpful staff.

Most of the poeple visiting Rome just need a place for the night because you are gone most of the day for points of interest. I tink they could a little more as far as the Pricing.
