Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. The staff was very friendly and gave us a great room and great room service. :)
The location was kind of obscure - even our taxi driver got lost and had to call for directions.

Everything (minus the location) was great about this hotel! The rooms were big, the staff was friendly, the food was good - now that I know where it is, I wouldn't think twice about booking again. I had a really good time!

Good front desk staff
Getting charged 17 Euro for an uninspired breakfast. Internet is not complementary.

Same as prior box.

The safety features at nighttime.
Horrible hotel manager service. He was rude and sarcastic. We will never stay at this hotel again.

We had bugs in our room, the air conditioning made loud noise at night and the bath tub filled with water while taking shower, so we had water coming up to our ankles. When I sent the manager of the hotel an email about these inconveniences, we experienced he sent an email that was sarcastic and rude. His response to the air conditioning issue was " As for the air conditioned I don t really understand your concern: this room is equipped with 5 years old Toshiba air conditioners units with meets the brand standards in terms of noise and cold; It has 3 levels of speed with the lowest is almost noiseless but as It might have hurt your delicate ears, maybe you could have turned it down. This comment is just rude and uncalled for. To say I have delicate ears and that I should turn down air conditioning is not a response or solution to the issue. I'm surprised that the hotel will not compensate us for our bad experience we had. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Very disappointed with this hotel. ...read more

The bed linens.
Stained ceiling, carpet, chipped tile in bathroom, chipped bathtub.

If a traveler is planning for one night only in the city and all other hotels are booked, the Holiday Inn-Montparnasse is a step above a hostel and should be reviewed as one star. The hotel staff are fluent in English and French and were very friendly, however. The bed linens were clean, bed comfortable, and the basic amenities were on site. While not ideal for any sort of romantic stay in the city, it was a roof over our heads and we didn't have to share a room with other travelers. ...read more

Great location once you know where it is.
It is hard to locate if you are visiting for the first time.

The hotel staff were amazing, very professional and extremely helpful.
the washroom did not have a fan or window that opened, so it was getting moldy, not enough plugs for hair dryers etc.

The hotel was very tidy, and quiet. The hotel staff were accommodating and very helpful. Access to internet was limited and pricey, but reliable. the room was small but comfortable, but had a huge bathroom. due to poor ventilation in the bathroom in combination with too few electrical outlets in the washroom, getting ready in the morning was a bit of a challenge, however manageable. ...read more

the only one good thing was the bed and A/C.
The bathroom was in poor condition, poor location.

At the most a 2 stars hotel, not a good location, no restaurant or tourist attractions are near. Staff attention poor. Not as advertise, NO FREE INTERNET (extra), parking is extra 15E/day, breakfast is extra 14E/day.
