Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn London-Brentford Lock

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Great staff, very accommodating. The room was beautiful and clean
There was a wedding party that was very raucous and made internal phone calls to my room all night. Not the hotel's fault, but they provided a complimentary breakfast as an apology.

New with good breakfast (£10.95 if pre-booked).
It is not 4-stars. No 4-star hotel's bathroom toiletries are screwed to the wall in dispensers! The room is quite spartan really, no proper wardrobe, so it's more-or-less a HI Express in reality.

Very modern look and feel, did not look like a "typical" Holiday Inn; clean and very comfortable.
Breakfast was not included; food was expensive; distance from Tube stop was greater than expected

I was surprised at the beautiful location; really enjoyed the pleasant, peaceful surroundings; staff was always courteous and eager to help; hotel was quite far from a Tube stop

Check in was easy
This was the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. There 5 nights and was woken up at least once every night. Was a 1 inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor so you heard EVERYTHING in the hallway and neighboring rooms. NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL

Would NOT stay there again. Feel like Priceline ripped me off on this one.

Accessible to Underground via easy bus trip, very close to Heathrow Airport, nice hotel.
No.

It was clean, comfortable, everything we expected and needed.

The staff is fantastically friendly and helpful.
Be aware that it takes a short bus trip and a long underground ride to get into central London. But it's worth it, because you couldn't get a four-star hotel in the city for twice as much. The staff will tell you exactly how to do the bus and the tube.

This hotel was listed as a 4 star hotel in a great location. I do not feel that it was either. I would not choose to stay here again.
The location. The area was not very inviting and there were few choices for eating or entertainment .

This hotel may be fine if you are just looking for somewhere to stop over. It is neither close to London or to the airport. There is no transportation from the LHR to hotel . A cab cost us about 30 bp. Getting into London meant a city bus and train. The hotel was clean and the staff was accomodating . Maybe fine for business travel but not for tourists.
