Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Express Mill Valley San Francisco Area

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Family, tourist & business-friendly hotel; cozy bed;great breakfast; loved that they do S'mores packets for the kids & bike rentals @ no xtra fee as they are directly on bike paths & beautiful marsh/bird sanctuary; close to all beaches and Muir Woods

Stayed for one night. Hotel was in a very nice & safe location right off the highway along the SF Bay Trail. The staffs were very nice and accommodating. Room was clean and spacious. Complimentary breakfast was great; good variety of food and drinks.

For some reason we were placed in handicap room. So to say a bit about that - room seemed very handicap-friendly. Huge bathroom, wide space enough for easy wheelchair access.

Amenities and bike checkouts.
The smell and carpeting in the back buildings.

I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

Location and ease of access.
NO.

Very nice hotel, well maintained and equipped. Breakfast was very nice and above average. Staff was helpful and enthusiastic. Seemed a bit pricey but noetheless a nice, safe, comfortable place to stay.

The location was amazing. About 25 minutes from downtown San Francisco, but felt like you were in a small town when you returned to the hotel.
No there was not one thing that we didn't like.

The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Pool and surrounding area was well kept and very beautiful. The hotel provides bikes to ride on the beautiful bike path. The fire pit is lit in the evening and is very relaxing. They even have s'more kits and you can melt your marshmellows and enjoy the evening outside without being cold. Very easy to get to Muir Woods and lots of places to eat very close to the hotel. ...read more

Location, close to san francisco just the other side of bay bridge.
Noisey fridge in the room. Room 130 is sloped, everything is at an angle. Walking in the room feels like being on a ship.

All staff was courteous. (I remained in the room, they offered to come back, but since I wasn't leaving, I said to come in). Maid was a young female who had the courtesy to keep the main door propped open while she was in the room with me.
A little excessive on the charge for the water bottles left in the room. Bring your own. The carpet was old and felt "sticky" in a couple places. Bring slippers. But for the price, it was still worth it.
