Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cocoa Beach

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Not too much for the money. Pretty expensive for a place that could not give the room until 2:45. Very mildewy in the room. Set off allergies. will not go back. Pool was out of order also.

Young man working front desk, pleasant and helpful. All staff when asked, quick to respond and pleasant. Joyce at the breakfast was friendly and kind. No rush at the end of the morning breakfast
Breakfast was great too bad it is over at 930 and not 10. Small area to sit in the sun out back around the pool

Right next to Pubix grocery. Easy parking and short walk to the beach. Good breakfast. Rooms nice and comfortable. Having refrig. in the room was nice. Good coffee in the morning

Close to beach (but must cross A1A to get there). Much nicer than most beach hotels.

Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is very nice with plenty of choices for any diet. Location is great even though it's not on the beach. Close proximity to everything; can walk to several restaurants, the beach, the Pier.
Wifi is slow and has issues; however, staff will work with you to get things going. This is not unique to this hotel. It seems most hotels in Cocoa Beach think of wifi as an afterthought and not a priority.

Location and staff make this a very good choice. I travel to Cocoa Beach on a regular basis for business and have stayed at most properties in the area. Since this is not a direct beach hotel it tends to have more business guests and very few families. Best choice if you want to avoid the tourists and/or rowdy groups.

Location has a lot going for this hotel. Even though not on the beach; this is a plus for the traveler that isn't planning on using the beach. Due to non direct access to the beach and a rather small pool, the hotel doesn't attract a lot of families
Internet service is the slowest I've encountered in the Cocoa Beach area. Staff said it was due to a high number of business travelers staying at the hotel. Hotel should understand that it is attractive to the business traveler and upgrade.

Very convenient location. Medium size property without children overwhelming the experience. Staff is really cordial and friendly. Rooms are nice but getting a bit dated. Mattress in my room had the typical overused dip in it. However, rooms and public are very clean. The breakfast, included, is very nice. They have omelets, pancakes and a wide choice of cereals, bagels etc. The guy that runs the breakfast is always on top of things so all the food is available and the area is clean. The hotel seems to attract business travelers and people staying for 1 night before a cruise. The cruise people can tend to be a bit rude but the higher percentage of business (experienced) travelers make a stay here a lot more stressful than the standard Cocoa Beach motel. For a mature traveler, this is an excellent choice. Internet is a significant drawback for me. It was up and running all the time, but after 5pm and between 6am-10am, opening an email could take over a minute. Very clumsy log in. Does require a password but their system doesn't allow for the password to be stored and recognized as a known network. This results in having to log-in each time the user gets disconnected. Not a big deal with a laptop, but with a mobile device each time you leave the property you need to log-in again. Login is more than a password have to "agree" and submit each time. They're login form is not mobile friendly so the screen is tiny and you may not see all the data that needs to be submitted. More an irritation than an issue but it is something management could easily resolve if they are truly guest focused. Overall, very nice experience because of the really friendly staff, especially at the front desk. They quickly recognize each guest and are just friendly enough to add a familiar touch without being too nosy. It's kind of like coming home and acknowledging a next door neighbor without having to get into a conversation. ...read more

Spacious, clean, very comfy bed.
Not much in the area, but close to the Kennedy Space Centre which is excellent.

Good hotel, breakfast is just ok, plastic plates, knives & forks cheapens the experience.

My wife and I recently spent two nights here. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly front desk clerk. He checked us in quickly and gave us some ideas for dinner that evening. The room was large and clean. The next morning the breakfast had a large selection and was very good. The staff was very helpful whenever we had a question. We will stay here again.

The rooms were clean and the location was great. The cocoa beach pier was a short walk and the food store was right next door.

Close to cocoa beach pier, cape Canaveral and we even took a trip to universal studios which is about an hour away.

The Staff was awesome! Very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts are good too.

I liked the location of the hotel , it's very close to alot of things, namely the beach. a quick walk across the street and your there. grounds are kept nice too. the only reason i would stay anywhere else was if i wanted to be on the beach.
