The value for the price and central location (close to gvsu and downtown).
When exiting hotel lobby had to walk by several pitiful smokers. Luckily I could hold my breath so I didnt have to breath the toxins.

I have stayed at many hotels in the Grand Rapids area and this one is the best value I have found. The hotel appeared fairly new and the room was clean and quiet. Pool and hot tub were nice. Workout room was small but all the equipment worked fine. This will be my "go to" hotel whenever I visit Grand Rapids.

The Holiday Inn Express hotels are well suited for the business traveler with good facilities to work and exercise.
The room's work desk area was not quite as good as others ive recently stayed at.

Helpful and friendly staff. Was able to print necessary documents from the business center. Having breakfast available is a convenient option to get going in the morning. They also have a good arrangement with Brann's Steak House for other meals.

Cinnamon rolls were stale.

Great hotel for the money. Very friendly and easy check-in. Room had nice A/C and very nice pool that was friendly for family and adults (after 10:30pm).

there is nothing to say.

For the date that we used the hotel (New Years Eve), they had wonderful gifts to give and the entertainment was great for the adults and kids. The breakfast was wonderful and a great selection.
