The website indicates 'free internet in lobby'. This is untrue. It is free internet for 30 minutes once every 24 hours. The cost for purchasing internet is more than $20. I asked about the internet and mentioned that the website indicated free internet as well as my booking. After a back an forth, I mentioned that neither indicated a limit but that I would not consider 30 minutes every 24 hours to be free internet. The staff told me I was 'changing my story'. Really? What kind of hotel says that to a guest? I would hope that a 4 star hotel would not. The staff member did eventually contact the manager who instantly requested I be given access. The rest of the staff were very polite. I did not like this interaction and it put a shadow on the rest of my stay. I went back to my room and took pictures of the mold in the shower and the poorly patched holes in the wall and decided to review the hotel. ...

Good location, but definitely not a 4 star hotel.

Holiday inn was a great location for exploring sydney. Numerous restaurants nearby. Great access to public transport for getting to and from airport.

There is no wifi in the rooms unless you pay $10 for two hours or $19 for 24 hours. My room was clean but generic. No free airport shuttle. It is close to shopping and attractions if you don't mind a walk-about.

The Hotel was great. I only booked it, however, on the strength of the "guarantee" - given by Priceline during the booking process - that BOTH internet and parking were free (or, more accurately, included in the price). When I got to the hotel this was NOT the case according to the Holiday Inn. I was able to provide documentation that I was correct, and - to their credit - they honoured the booking and gave me both for no extra. They told me, however, that this was the third time this had happened with Priceline, and that they would be "reviewing" their partnership with Priceline as a result. They were not happy, and nor was I as this all took time and stress to clear up. ...

The hotel was a quick walk to the beautiful Darling Harbour with it's many restaurants and entertainment places, and the Chinese Garden of Friendship, which is lovely. It also is a block away from China Town and Paddy's Market, a great place for shopping and eating. Paddy's Market has souveniers, clothing, etc. at half the cost of the uptown stores. The hotel itself was spacious and clean. ...

This hotel is the second stop on the tram or hightail from central station. It's right next to Paddy's Market which really makes for some great shopping. The staff is very helpful as well.
