Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Chicago-Countryside/Lagrange

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

It was clean and convenient
My room was by the elevators: very noisy late at night

I would not stay here again, probably, but to be honest, it was more the general rudeness of the guests than problems with the staff

Very clean and ample parking and good location
The hotel lost power during the night, and there was no hot water for bath or showers

would like a refund or a voucher for another stay.

The location and the food. The banquet facilities are nice.
The hotel and pool area are steadily falling into disrepair. Years without preventive maintenance coupled with an unskilled maintenance staff has taken its toll on the once grand holidome. ICG needs to pay a visit.

Saturday nights are so out of control they have to post a security guard in the pool area. The amount of outside guests paying customers bring in to swim is staggering. They had a pool area bracelet program to eliminate outside visitors but due to their inability to enforce their policies they abandoned it. They have even gone so far as to allow children in the whirlpool "at their parents discretion". Sunday morning the scum ringed whirlpool chloring levels were so high faces were reddening and children were gagging. ...read more

Room size
Refrigerator did not work, but that was coincidental. No free breakfast buffet or continental setup.

I like the Priceline price.

Great Location and Amenities.
Bathroom flooded, Electrical outlets did not work in room. Was greeted at midnight from security regarding my flooded bathroom.

The Pool
Beds where small and uncomfortable. In online pictures it shows a game room with pool table. Has been removed. No arcade for kids. I expected that to be standard in a large name brand hotel. Had two hot tubs, But only one working.
