The hotel was a 3*, 3.5* at most. We woke up in the middle of the night when the TV went off, because the housekeeping staff did not clear the alarms. At that point, we stayed up for an extra hour because the room smelled of sewage.
When we called downstairs they said "oh, someone else reported that too, last week".
The brunch was sorely understaffed, to the point that drinks were not served.
At the end of the day, the concierge was awesome, but the rest of the hotel staff were sweet talkers for trying to keep the 4* rating. This did not meet the bar. ...

The hotel is a little way away from the harbour area and Orchard Road although it does provide a limited complementary shuttle bus service to Orchard Road and Clarke Quay. The nearest MRT station is probably a 10 minute walk away but there are public bus stops very close. Didn't use the gym but the pool was good and a decent deck area. The rooms were very quiet, the beds really comfortable with a range of pillows. Nice quality complementary toiletries; our room (1303) had a shower over the bath, not a separate shower. No problem for us, the curtain was kept well away from you whilst showering and the shower was very powerful. ...

Family Traveling with Young Children
Quick check in and easy departure. Taxis are in abundance and always waiting at the hotel entrance to pick up fares so getting a cab was never a problem. Local Food options away from the hotel are not far away at Tiong Bahru and Zion road hawker center. Again, the oppressive heat and humidity make the 15-20min walk to either challenging and we always looked forward to getting back to the hotel to cool off before venturing out again. ...

Nice hotel with free wifi in the lobby (have to pay extra in the room). Nice sunny outdoor pool. Too bad about the location too far off from any MRT
