Hotel Guest Reviews of the Historic Streetcar Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

We liked the location and loved the hotel staff. They were most helpful in advising places we might like to visit during our short stay. The prices was extremely reasonable and even included a continental breakfast.
Nothing we could complain about!

Highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay here again. The Streetcar stop was just across the street. We loved the restaurant choices near the hotel. Tacos and Beer was our favorite!

I liked the history behind the hotel. It was cute & quaint.
The hanging vent in the bathroom, the rusted drain in the sink of the bathtub and the patched up spot on the ceiling in the bathroom was white & the rest of the ceiling of the bathroom was burgundy.

I wanted to remain optimistic; although going in I had read several bad reveiews, i see myself as a person who looks at the glass half full. Upon check in we were greeted by a very welcoming staff member & shown to the room, she even unlocked the door for us. Upon entry I must admit I was a little taken back by how small the room was, but I expected that from the reviews so it wasn't anything that bothered me. 10 feet in(if that much) was the bathroom where the heating system was which meant the bathroom door would have to remain open at all times. There were very simple, I find minor things that could have been done to make the bathroom look a little nicer, a nail & hammer to close the ceiling vent, some paint to cover a patched area in the ceiling and some tile pain for the rust around the tub drain. Oh, I did forget their is no headboad so when I pulled the pillows back, their was what looked like a streak of sweat mixed with dirt right behind the pillows, could've easily been wiped off by housekeeping with a wet towel. Although we didn't have a chance to hang out at the hotel, their was a cute little patio area outside. The only thing that truly got under my skin was the noise, my hubby & I are late sleepers & the common area was right outside of our door so we were awaken by patrons laughing & talking at 7:30am, so if you like to sleep late, beware of room 15 or any of the rooms close to it. We did bang on the wall & they quieted down a little bit. ...read more

The staff was absolutely awesome and helpful. Walking distance to a mailbox. Close by the streetcar stop and great places to eat for a quick bite. It reminds me of a B/B. I would definitely come here again.
No set parking, but the rental was safe. The hotel is next to a patrol station.

It was a great price and conveniently located in the garden district.
The room was cold...they only had a space heater. The amenities are dated but fine for the price.

Nothing fancy but a good bargain bed and breakfast type place.
