Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hilton Salt Lake City Center

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Good location, not great. It IS pretty much downtown. For the first time driving in Salt Lake City it was good enough. There is a so-so Starbucks in the lobby... that would have to be what I liked most about this Hotel.
Room service was ridiculously expensive. a beer cost's about 8 bucks... holy wtf...

The 3g in Salt Lake isn't that great, you have to pay per day for wifi, but, i decided i didn't need it that bad. Parking is 17 bucks a day, and the underground parking garage is pretty tight. The visibility for pulling in and out of the Valet area is pretty good. The bed was a lot more firm than I'm used to so i didn't sleep in very well. Pillows were down filled so they were nice and soft, but i take 2 of my own pillows with me anywhere i go anyways. I would probably stay here again if i got the same deal i did when i stayed the first time. Nothing to amazing about it, nothing really bad about it. Just "good enough" i suppose! :) ...read more

Great location and nice rooms. The Bell desk was very helpful and took great care of my special needs.
The TV remote was hard to figure out and there were not a lot of good channels. I didn't know I had to pay for parking and it was too expensive to park.

The location.
Wish I had known parking was $15.00/day. The drain in the tub did not drain well and standing in water to your ankles during a shower is not fun.To be charged $10.00 for WiFi is just plain dumb in this day in age.

I would not recommend this hotel. The front desk staff was rude when checking in. (was it because I was a priceline customer?). The shower drain backed up. The wifi costs money, every day. Parking is expensive. The only good thing is location but since there are about 25 other hotels in the same location I would recommend trying one of them. I had just come from a hotel that was the same price with an awesome FREE breakfast (University Guest House). Even though its not in the downtown area, it beats the Hilton by far. Unfortunately, I was very unimpressed with my overall stay at the Hilton Salt Lake City. ...read more

Comfortable beds and quiet.
I operate vacation rentals so I spot the not-so-clean quickly. There was dirt on the front of the bathroom vanity and the tub wasn't draining.

Great location, walking distance to lots of of eateries, shopping, and UTrax station.
Parking is expensiveNo free wifiA few elevators were slow and unreliable

This hotel is fantastic, as long as you aren't parking a car. Nearby street parking is at a premium and the garage is not cheap. The rooms are good sized and up-to-date, the bathrooms are large, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly enough

The Bed was fabulous! So soft and comfortable. I haven't had a good nights sleep in ages until I stayed here!
The front desk staff was not too friendly. Not very willing to provide much information regarding my stay.

Overall hotel was clean and very comfortable. Would stay again.

Room was well located Downtown. Room was very clean and fresh smelling. The room was also well furnished and modern.
The parking was expensive and wireless is not free. The walls are thin.

I've stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions over the years. I generally enjoy my stay. The rooms are always very clean and fresh. They have renovated the furniture and plumbing. The rooms are well laid out and modern. My only on-going complaints would be that wireless is expensive and spotty in some rooms. The walls are very thin. You get to know your neighbors a little to well. The parking is expensive but for a downtown location, not outrageous. This last visit my room had very slow bathroom drain and a broken TV remote. I did not call the front desk. Based on past experience, they probably would have responded had I called. ...read more

The bedding was excellent. Easy check out.
The outlet in the bathroom wasn't working. While selfParking was free, valet was $17 a night. Pricey. No breakfast. The thermostat had very limited ranges. Was a bit warm.

Very close to Blue Iguana & benihana's. Fun & delicious restaurants. Easy, quick to airport from hotel. Nice pool & hot tub.
