Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hilton Palacio Del Rio

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Great rooms with balcony and views to the river. Great choice of restaurants in the area. The hotel is at the center of everything important in San Antonio and close to the most important touristic attractions. Close to any business meeting in town.
Internet should be free of charge, $15 per night is too much. Also, it needs more options for in-room dining, it is really limited. Taxis in the area are expensive, but at least you can pay with credit card. Breakfast buffet is too limited for $20 dollars

Staff at the hotel, especially at the front desk are really helpful.

Great rooms, convenient location for conference center.
Dining prices were high but commensurate with others in the area.

Very convenient if you're going for the pleasure of the River Walk.

Very aesthetically pleasing and very helpful staff.
I could not believe there was not a restroom on the lobby floor. Also, I understand that construction is a way of urban life, but the construction on the boat tours new building was so loud we did not eat at the hotel restaurants.

Quality of the room and location on the Riverwalk.
Expensive Wifi. That kept you from getting a perfect score.

Great location on the Riverwalk. Friendly staff. Incredible rooms, which appear to have been recently renovated. The best San Antonio hotel if your want to spend time on the Riverwalk and at the Convention Center.

The hotel was at a good location, had friendly staff members, was clean, one could access the river walk from the ground level which was a true bonus.
The parking was $39.00 per day by valet only. Had a hamburger at the Sports Bar which looked and tasted like it was microwaved, also cold.

The hotel was recently remodeled and is very attractive, it is also a great location being on the river walk. The front desk was accommodating and gave me a room facing the river walk. The room, however, was next to the elevator which was noisy. One of the restaurants was closed due to remodeling so I ate at the sports bar after arriving and ordered a hamburger which was not warm, it was too dark to tell if it was cooked or not. I was wondering if the kitchen was closed due to the remodeling and the hamburger was microwaved. I didn't want to eat any food there after this. The waiter was extremely kind and efficient. All staff was great. ...read more
