2 Convention Ctr Place South Wharf
Welcome to the Hilton Melbourne South Wharf
Direct access to the convention center, Spanish-inspired gourmet menus in the hotel restaurant and superb views of the city and Yarra River impress guests of the non-smoking Hilton Melbourne South Wharf.
The view steals the show in most of the 396 non-smoking rooms in the high-rise Hilton, even with competition from stylish and modern furniture, flat-panel TVs, luxury linens, minibars, coffeemakers and desks. Fresh, seasonal and local ingredients are the key to the delightful dishes in the hotel cafe, restaurant and bar. If your willpower was defeated by the dessert tray, burn off calories in the fitness center. Discuss itinerary plans with the concierge to get the most out of your visit. A business center and childcare and laundry services are offered.
Perched on the south bank of the Yarra River, this hotel is adjacent to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center. It is also a block from the DFO South Wharf, where shopping bargains are just waiting to be snapped up. Reach Melbourne International Airport, 15 miles north, in about 20 minutes.
With a "really lovely location" that is within walking distance of "many areas of interest," an "industrial chic" style and an "exceptional" staff, it's easy to see why Priceline guests rate the Hilton so highly among Melbourne hotels.

Everything is good! but location is a bit far to Collins st. If you do not care 20-30minutes walking distance,it will be perfect!

I would stay again because of the really lovely location where you can walk to many areas of interest. The staff was exceptional in their knowledge and courtesy. It is worth the upgrade to the executive lounge . It gives you free wifi, a bountiful breakfast, afternoon tea and appetizers and drinks daily. Definitely do this to enhance your stay and save money.

Overall a nice Hilton. The customer service both at check in & concierge was GREAT -exceeded- my expectations. However room service was SO slow one soup and one Caesar salad took an HOUR to deliver and then there was no butter with the bread! Clean room and bathroom, comfy beds and dark window shades made sleeping easy. The view from our window was well less than picturesque so ask for the side facing the river if possible or you will be looking at a parking lot and freeway. ...

Gorgeous facility with virtually nothing to complain about--easily one of the nicest, newest, cleanest hotels that I've ever had the pleasure of staying in.
