The hotel was OK and was about half the price of where my friends stayed! I didn't need any special facilities and they did not have any. Room was nice, everything in the room was fine. It had a kitchenette with fridge and micro.. My friends didn't have that. Their room was fancy, mine plain I saved lots! The Staff (what little I saw)was friendly and polite. A nice little mountain stream right behind the hotel. It is a place that is perfect for skiers. ...

Before we booked this inn, we noticed that there are some complain about limited parking places. That is true. We arrived at about 4:30 and there were only 2 or 3 parking slots left. The room is clean. Only thing is the lining of blanket on bed was a not that 'white'. No tub in bathroom. Breakfast is just soso. You can't expect too much since you pay less. No bacon, no eggs, no yoghourt. Only waffles and toast. Stuffs are helpful. ...

Easy to find, well-marked entrance. Older style motel with outside entries to each unit. Units are clean and well-equipped with wet kitchen bar, mini fridge and microwave. Digital CATV, free WIFI. No handicap access to 2nd or 3rd floor units. My companion had to climb stairs with a foot cast on, as there were no ground floor units available. Be sure to request a ground floor room when making reservations. Also ask to be on the side oppoasite parking lot to ensure some quiet and privacy. The dining area and free breakfast were very disappointing. Dining area consists of a few tables and chairs in the office area, breakfast was english miffins and cold cereal selection. This is a good economical choice for a one-night stay or a short business stay where you won't spend much time on the property. I would stay there again if the need arose. ...

This hotel might be okay during the skiing crush but is a very poor choice during remainder of the year. General condition is very rundown. There need to be some vast improvement to make for an enjoyable stay.

Our stay was great. The room was located really close to a lot of eateries. The room was clean and quiet. I think the breakfast could have been improved upon, but a small breakfast is what we normally have at home. I think the 2 star rating is too low for this hotel...While on vacation we stayed in places that were rated higher but were no where as nice as the Hillside. Our stay was great and we would recommend the Hillside to other travelers. We would certainly return for another visit. ...

We loved having a window that would open and give us the clean, crisp Vermont air. Early reviews hinted an untrained staff. NOT! We arrived late, were met by a pleasant woman who was able to answer all our questions. She was equally hospitable at breakfast. We all need tolerate differences; not all ethnic groups always give you the Hollywood smile! Let us look beyond and recognize individuals as individuals. ...

Overall, it was a fine place for what are needs were. Wish they would have had a better breakfast.

Probably meets the needs of skiers in season who don't need amenities or a/c.
