Hotel Guest Reviews of the Highland Inn Las Vegas
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 16, 2013

The price is low, but definitely not the lowest you can get with the quality of service you will receive. You might get lower price online for a casino hotel at the right time. The location is great if you are just stopping by Vegas for a night and enroute to somewhere else, because that motel is right beside the major highway exits and short drive from the airport. Fast food and gas station are within walking distance, so that's a plus. The room is below average, but certainly not the worst. The setup is just very outdated, such as tube TV inside a dresser and etc. Also, my husband and I are smokers, we should be able to put up with cigarette smell in the room, but every morning we were woken up by this very strong cigarette smell that felt like someone just smoked in front of our face while we were sleeping (AC was off due to Vegas wasn't hot enough for it). That could be the room has very bad air flow, the smell never goes away. Overall, I will rate this place average just because this motel served the purpose as a place of sleep for us and our puppies. We were only in Vegas for 2 night for closing on our new home. For visitors to Vegas, that place isn't too good of a choice, unless you are on a very tight traveling budget. ...

I would definitely recommend it. It's not a 4star hotel, but if you're looking for a nice, affordable place to stay, this is it. But if you have kids and want a place for them to hang out(like a pool) this isn't the place. No pool.

This inn was a great value, especially in Las Vegas! It is is very close to the freeway so it was easy to get to and from the Strip. For a cheap stay, it was very clean. Our room had no odd smell, no gross stains and the clerk (who we assume was the owner) was very friendly. Sure, it's not the nicest place in Vegas. Still, for basic needs, it is clean and comfortable.
I would recommend for travelers looking for someplace cheap and basic. ...

Not going to stay at this place again. Bugs are not very welcoming.

This motel is a bit removed from everything, but was a nice stay for the price.

The hotel was very well priced for Vegas. It was a great place to crash at night. It is not a place you want to stay and hang around in for a long time, but it is a wonderful, safe place to sleep and get ready.
