Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hattie May Inn - Bed And Breakfast

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The owners are very helpful and really try to make their guests comfortable.
location (not anything in walking distance); breakfast (timing and selection)

We were in town for a conference, and had classes from 8 am until 10 pm. Breakfast is only served at 830, so we had to eat out. Our last morning I did make it down to breakfast and they had eggs with green peppers and potatoes, that's it--whatever they decide to cook is the only thing available. I don't like green peppers so we ended up eating out. The B&B is very old and floors squeak REALLY loud. We felt bad leaving in the morning and coming in at night--I'm sure we woke the whole house up! Beds are antique and squeak REALLY loud; we both slept poorly because we were afraid to move all night lol. Toiletries are very cheap; the soap bar started crumbling apart as soon as we pulled it out of the pkg. The only amenity is a large outdoor porch, which would have been nice had our classes ended sooner. Overall, this B&B doesn't work for us. For someone looking for the historic value of a 120-yr-old house and has time to lounge on the porch this might be great. We wouldn't stay here again. ...read more

Scott and Laura are amazing people! Enjoyed the conversations and the food was wonderful! My wife and I will be staying there again! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for that Victorian experience.

I get tired of the chain hotels so it's so nice to stay at a B&B like this and really feel at home. Beautiful place and perfect location. Bargain for the money.

New owners Scott and Laura are so sweet and make you feel at home. Laura is a great chef of holistic and natural foods. The best last minute idea I've had I a while!

It was quiet and the service was friendly without being underfoot.
The property was located near hospitals resulting in siren noise. Since the rest of the time it was so quiet when the siren was heard it was obvious.

I have spent many nights at hotels on business trips. If you tire of spending another night in traditional hotels, choosing the bed-n-breakfast option may be worth a try. The Hattie May Inn is clean and quiet with a great breakfast meal and located very close to downtown Fort Worth. I also enjoyed pouring through the numerous books about local history. This was a nice escape.
