Overall good but a little pricey and they would not extend our rate so we went to a cheaper, better hotel.

Group Traveler
Whether on vacation or business, if you want to be treated like a person and feel like you’re at home, stay at the Hampton Inn. I would never recommend a place called the Sanctuary as the lady in charge there Masha Supranovich has no respect for people. She is rude and unfriendly. The Hampton Inn is the way to go and the Costa Rican people are so very kind.

On travels to Costa Rica I find it useful to schedule a first and last night stay near the airport. The Hampton Inn is an American-style hotel. It is spotless, quiet and truly offers a soft landing location. When you travel to Costa Rica you can expect some flight delays, and you should avoid hassling with buses and taxis if you can. A nice hotel near Juan Santamaria is worth a few extra bucks. When you check out of the hotel, leave San José - rent a villa at a beach somewhere. ...
