we were looking for cheap basic accommodations and that is what we got. It definitely needs updating but it served the purpose for us... sleep and shower.

Overall, I am pleased. It covered the basics.

Overall, pretty shabby.; run down mostly (paint chipping everywhere etc). If you are just there to sleep or not spending any time there it was sure cheap enough (and looked it). There was also a heavy scent of smoke. We had asked for a non-smoking room and I think it was now but with smell still lingering.

We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay for an event in South Portland, and the best I can say is we got what we paid for: a place to sleep. The staff was helpful, but the property left a lot to be desired: Inadequately sized TV for the room, poor caulking in the bathroom, banged-up or broken furniture, no extra blankets or pillows, food left behind in the kitchenette. I know our visit came after the summer season, but I hope what I saw was a place that steps up its game when the crowds come. I wouldn't call the experience a disaster, but it was definitely a disappointment. ...

for a beach community, this place was exactly as I expected. I'd stay again, no problem.

The hotel is a little over a mile away from the main drag of the town, so it's not the most convenient location but you could walk there if you don't mind the hike. The hotel furnishings are older, although there was a flat screen TV. Beds were alright but the rug & the doors were a little beat up. One thing I will say is that the walls are thin and if you can request a room location, ask for one away from the stairwell. My bed against a stairway wall and I heard folks walking up & down the stairs all morning. I only stayed overnight, but I wouldn't mind staying here for a weekend or a week. I'd just prefer a room away from the stairs on the top floor. ...

We have stayed there once before. We had a room on the side that had a kitchenette except they took out the fridge just a big empty space in the wall. This time we had a room in the back section. The room was clean on arrival, never cleaned again while we were there. Our room had a flat screen TV rooms next to us did not. THis property is a cash cow. The owners milk it for all its worth and spend very little on improvements. I'll only stay at this property if it is the lowest price of anything else I can find. ...
