Hotel Guest Reviews of the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino Las Vegas

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Great location for Downtown fun
The room we got was for handicapped only. The bathroom had no storage space, not even enough for a shaving kit. The light switch were all 24" off the floor. Perfect if you were handicapped or in a wheelchair, not so perfect if you are 6' tall.

Great restaurant ( The Lilly) downstairs. Good quality food, entertaining and fair price.

The pool-shark tank area, but make sure you get there early to get a seat. It can be so crowded that you won't find a chair to put your things. Free parking with room key for guests.
The Carson tower is dated. No free wifi anywhere in the hotel and you have to pay a fee per device.

Over all a convenient hotel for the downtown area. The Rush tower rooms are updated sleek and much more expensive. Over all the hotel was comfortable.

Always consistent service.
Not the fault of the hotel but downtown Vegas is going downhill. Beggars and fools in stupid outfits wanting handouts is going to drive people away and back to the strip. The charm of downtown is fading fast.

Good central downtown location. This has been a good place for years and has never let us down.

The restaurants, pool and the light show every nite.
No free wi-fi or coffe and water in the room. Also hidden charges such as downtown des. fees.

Otther than the above, it is a bautiful hotel.

Great location in the middle of everything on Fremont Street. Great pool, good bars, $5 minimums on most table games, it's a fun hotel. Rooms were comfortable, and spacious enough for my wife and I. Free parking too.
Some of the areas of the hotel are a bit outdated especially in comparison to the newer hotels on the strip. This is an old school Vegas hotel, if you are looking for the vogue high end place, go to the strip.
