Hotel Guest Reviews of the Glenstone Lodge

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location was close to all the Gatlinburg attractions.

Liked that the hotel had two pools. Asked for a roll away and it was brought up right away. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was very good. Compliments to the chef cooking the eggs.

The indoor pool was nice
The room was very outdated and the ac didn't work very good. My check in time was 3 p.m. And I had to wait until 4 p.m. To check in. It's a mile from the strip and uphill . Not a very good location for walking .

Location wasn't bad - walking distance from the main strip. Pretty creek ran behind the property. Room was supplied with lots of extra towels. In-Room refrigerator was VERY convenient.
Room in indoor pool area was noisy, and also humid due to the water (difficult to keep room cool). Television volume did not turn up loud enough for us to hear it over the sounds of the pool.

Good location slightly off the main road. Convenient parking. Breakfast buffet was very good and worth the price. Room had a small fridge.
Loud air conditioners. Didnt auto shut off and you could hear the AC in the next room.

The staff was pleasant.
The room was very humid, muggy.( It was overlooking the pool) The key didn't open the door. I had to go back to the front desk to get help. The remote didn't operate the TV. They replaced it but it also didn't work properly. Hairdryer didn't work.

The layout was very awkward. Lots of walking to get to the room, it was confusing. Getting from the room to the front desk was also confusing, plus you had to walk in the pool area to get there. The humidity was stifling.

It was close enough to the main strip to walk comfortably and was also located near the entrance to the national park. The pool area, while outdated, was enjoyable for the kids. The cleaning staff was super friendly and accommodating.
Overall, the hotel was pretty run down. Very outdated and a lot of things were in disrepair. The front desk staff was hot and cold. One (new) young man was great the first night we checked in. The two othermen were very cold and not friendly at all.
