Hotel Guest Reviews of the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Spectacular facility with great open space. Even though there were a lot of people on the premises, it never felt crowded except for the CHECK IN line.
They really need to ditch the Ala Carte pricing in their restaurants and room service. The food was solidly good but not outstanding and not worth the price paid. I saw that an order of French fries in the Jack Daniels restaurant listed at $6.00. Crazy!

Beautiful one of a kind facility.

It was a fun experience and we had a great internal view from our room. There is a free shuttle to take you to The Opry and staying at the hotel is an experience.
There are a few automatic hidden fees including $21/day (plus tax) for parking and $18/day (plus tax) resort fee, so factor that into your budget. The hotel restaurants were crowded and expensive and the location is far from the downtown area.

Excellent location, clean rooms, and comfortable beds, and it was nice the way the 2 bathroom sinks were situated.
Check-in took way longer than it should have.. This is a huge hotel with many rooms. More clerks and faster service was sorely needed as it took almost 30 minutes to get checked. The only other bad thing about the hotel was the $21/day parking lot fee.

This should be a 3.5 star hotel given the level of design, service, and interior amenities. The common areas inside the structure are vast and elaborate. Meals were pricey, but given the "wow" factor for the building, it wasn't unexpected. There is also a huge convention facility attached to this, but it doesn't interfere with the rest of the hotel as it is placed at one corner of the site. Interior foliage in the high ceiling enclosed areas was very nice as well. ...read more

The grounds.
Lack of signage, K-Mart decor in room, intentional double charging by front desk.

Get building and location, in desperate need of a functioning staff and management

Would be help to know about hidden fees for parking and other fees that were above and beyond what I agreed to.
