Hotel Guest Reviews of the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Cleanliness, decor, appearance
Yes, I think it's absurd that they still charge for internet. It's supposed to be a luxury, high-end hotel, and it's very pricey. To add an additional charge for internet is ridiculous.

The hotel is wonderfully appointed, but most impressive were how engaging and charming the staff was--very good people working at the Four Seasons in Philadelphia.
The bathroom tub/shower area was a little small.

The food was excellent at The Fountain, the high tea in the afternoon was a delight, and again, the decor was beautiful and the staff phenomenal!

EVERY STAFF PERSON was very friendly. From the doorman, to the front desk, to room service, to the dishwashers in the kitchen in the basement of the hotel - everyone greeted us with a smile and told us to have a good day. Very kid friendly.

Nothing particular
Beds were old and bouncy. Coffee was empty at 1010 in lobby on Sunday morning. Staff except for concierge seemed very indifferent.

For the high price, there was nothing distinct about this hotel. Nicer rooms available for less than half the price.

The hotel provided easy, friendly, supportive service at every turn . . . from parking the car to checking in to handling bags to dining.
No.

The ease with which we could drive into and out of a city was especially good, thanks to the location of this hotel. The neighborhood is beautiful, artsy, well appointed with interesting shops and restaurants, and easy to navigate on foot. Inside the hotel is great too, as one would expect of the Four Seasons brand in any locale.

Great Name
Had a scheduled power shut down and did not give any of the guests who arrived before 4pm ANY notice. They said that meant no food after 6pm too. Also, I inquired and it is standard for them to call you back five minutes after you try to order room serv.

Service from A-Z was much lower then to be expected from a Four Seasons.

The hotel had a friendly and helpful staff. Good location to walk to train station and to restaurants in Rittenhouse Square.
Our room was next to stairway/elevators. The next room had children who cried all night so we did not sleep well. No complimentary coffee/tea in the room, everything you had to "buy". No complimentary breakfast. Bathroom soap/shampoo was limited.

Helpful staff. Comfortable and clean room. Very good dining and breakfast.Beautiful artwork all around.
A wedding reception was in progress, which blocked us out of the afternoon tea area. One or two little things wrong with the room (mattresses were sloping and needed turning; sink was partially blocked; bedside light switch was not working properly).

A very nice place but expensive.
