Hotel Guest Reviews of the Fairfield Inn & Suites San Antonio North/Stone Oak

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Would not return I was over charged and can not gt a hold of the manager. I've called multiple times and the receptionist there remembers me and sees my charge at
XXX or XXX. I was charged more than
XXX and no one not even the MANAGER OF THE HOTEL can return my call!!!! Never use Priceline again and I will not refer you to any one. I will make sure no one uses you for anything. ...read more

Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean and breakfast had a nice choice of proteins and carbs.
No mini refrigerator in the room, and no microwave either. Check-In issues with Manager/Owner. Towels were extremely thin. Housekeeping failed to leave clean towels or bath mat. We were told that if we wanted them, we had to come to the front desk.

If you're using GPS, watch your exit or you'll end up looping around several miles to get back to the hotel. The hotel itself was very nice. Upon check in with my 17 year old son, we were told that we were getting 1 bed. I (Mom) asked if he had enough rooms with 2 beds so that we didn't have to share a bed. He said they had plenty. However, there was a lock on the system and he had to call the manager/owner to find out how to change our room. The manager/owner said "that's what happens when they book on-line - it's our choice", and said that if we wanted 2 beds we needed to pay
xxx plus tax extra per night (we were staying 2 nights). I have never been refused like this. I could understand if they were running low on 2 beds, but the parking lot wasn't even half full late at night. When our room was cleaned, we were left 1 towel. I called the front desk and told them we needed towels and a bath mat. They said if I wanted it, I had to come get it because Housekeeping had left for the day. These were the only negatives. The staff were very attentive and friendly - breakfast was very well stocked and welcoming staff were there to keep everything full. It never looked picked over. Even though we did not have a microwave in our room, my son took his leftovers down at 10pm and the front desk was very helpful and warmed it up for him, and even gave him a plate and utensils. I would stay here again - but - I think the manager/owner needs to ask why they are participating in a program with Priceline if they are so negative and can't understand why a 6' tall 17 y/o would not want to sleep in the same bed with his mom.

great rooms, breakfast included, indoor pool
g.m.'s policy of not changing bedroom accommodations (2 double preferred) if purchased through priceline. never encountered this at other marriotts. staff told me it was a permanent policy; g.m. at front desk told me it was only for spring break. hmm

always pleased with value and quality at marriott's fairfield and springhill suites. hope not to encounter above problem again of requesting bedding preference and being denied for the sole purchase of it being purchased through priceline. but can always count on the marriott, overall, for the best value and price.

The breakfast was great and free.

Hotel was located right off of 1604 but a lot of construction in the area. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The employees overseeing the breakfast was very attentive and kind.

It was clean
Difficult location to access and does not have roll away beds for guests with children

I had a bad experience because I was traveling with my daughter and her cousin and had a room with a king bed and the hotel does not have roll away beds and could not give us a room with two doubles. So I had to sleep on the floor . The room was on the first level by the pool and we had kids in the pool until 11:00 pm and it was loud. The breakfast bar was clean and very nice breakfast. ...read more
