Hotel Guest Reviews of the Extended Stay America - Atlanta - Perimeter - Peachtree Dunwoody

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Checking out!
Everything except the staff.

The place needs a SERIOUS update and SERIOUS cleaning. You could see the dust and dirt build-up on the hallways along the walls. Floor areas were chip, especially in the elevator. The countertop in the kitchen area was chipped. The refrigerator had old grease splashes from someone cooking. The paint was chipping off the fridge. The carpet in the room was old, dirty and crawling. I tripped over an area a coupled of times. I had to go out and buy a bottle of Fabreze to get rid of the fowl odor in the room. It was a combination of bug spray and old baby diapers. NOT A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION. I was actually surprised I didn't see any roaches in the place. I returned from work Thursday, got to my room, and NONE of the keys worked. I had to go back downstairs to get the keys reprogrammed. Of course, after getting back upstairs, THOSE KEYS DID NOT WORK. I called down to the front desk and told them about it and they immediately came upstairs with new keys. While putting some of my bags in the car that night, I noticed that those new keys would not let me into the building. The person at the desk had to let me in TWO TIMES. I was told I was going to have a suite, FAR FROM IT. The room was a studio type room. I know, you get what you pay for. It's worth it, for me, to go ahead and pay that extra money instead of getting stuck for three days in a dump like this. The staff was great. They were the only bright spots of my stay. They deserve to be in a better environment. I think Extended Stay America Deluxe has extended its stay in the Perimeter area. ...read more

Location
Definitely should have called ahead to insure a non-smoking room was available. We actually swapped rooms because the 1st room reeked of cigarettes and had cigarette burns in the counter

Also, the detergent used in the sheets caused a mild allergic reaction.

I just like the overall experience this Extended Stay America provides, This hotel is perfect for anyone who needs lodging for just a few days or even months. Thanks to the individuals who work at the front desk, and General Manager, Melissa. Lenny

Nothing...
My room was dirty with women's long hair ALL in the corners of the bathroom. This place is a dump and that only the half of it. One staff member was VERY rude and demanded I come to front dest without telling me why. They apparently lost my paperwork.

This hotel has the same brand just behind it but with different rooms and service. Be very careful and make sure you know which address you are staying at. The same brand is less than 50 yards apart. Very bad move for the Extended Stay Franchisees. I stayed at the other one and it was significantly better.

My room was very clean, neat, and tidy... I also rested very well in my room...
I think the hallways should have some kind of automated scented spray...

This hotel was very comfortable and clean... It was quiet and staff is excellent all the time...

It was very convenient to the hospital. The bed is comfortable, though small, and a very nice selection of pillows.
There is only 1 queen size bed. I know of NO other hotel chain with this limitation. And you don't find out until after you book the room.

I don't recommend the hotel because of the limitation of one queen size bed. And I don't recommend Priceline because you do not know until after the room is booked.

The room was very clean and welcoming. The clerk who checked us in, i think her name was Shania, was very nice.
My key would not work. I had to get it reset daily. It was not near my cell phone.

The hotel was well worth the price, in fact, it actually exceeded our expectations.

The shower had great pressure, noise level was minimal, bed was comfortable.
Room slightly dated, towels were small and scratchy, no shampoo in room.
