Hotel Guest Reviews of the Extended Stay America - Los Angeles - Torrance Blvd.

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. The maintenance is ridiculous. The kitchen cabinet door came off and fell on my foot when I merely tried to open it by pulling on its handle. I could have broken a bone in my foot. This is terrible.

Tammy - just what you'd expect from someone at a long-term stay hotel; extremely pleasant even in the midst of a disaster. f your day at work was dreadful, hopefully she's working. The trees on the East are nice n' relaxing after a long day as well.
Quite a bit actually, but it's only 2 miles from work and it's much better than the Carson location and far, far better than Gardena (worst hotel I've ever been to - nothing else comes close (though I know there are worse, of course) - so it does the job.

Nothing to say, really - it's your average Extended Stay. Some are great, some are Extended Prisons, and some (like this one) are what you'd expect (on average). The staff is far friendlier than it used to be, though far too busy - you see one person taking care of a dozen people checking in at once while 1/2 the hotel is wondering where their 'KITCHEN' (like the commercial)- basically when are they going to get something as basic as a coffee maker (I'm pretty sure even the Bate's Motel has a coffee maker). - they handle the stress better than most I've been to lately. At least the slow season is coming up - give the staff a break and allow the guests to check-in/get what they asked for before bed. ...read more

Front desk very unprofessional. Had a loud conversation with person who was supposed to work that night and was late. He complained about her to us which was riduculous.

by car, close to shops. Not really via walking.
only 1 waiting chairs, very light breakfast (a few bars). Didn't like smoking room

Don't remember choosing non-smoking (was there choice)? Receptionist sometimes not there (either by design, delivering to room, sitting off to side). Can confuse with 2-3 other nearby hotels. Not a 4 star hotel.

The staff, though busy, did accommodate our early check in with a smile. after many miles of driving it was nice to be able to drop things off before heading to the beach. The location is great, just a few miles from the beach.
get to the breakfast bar early if you don't want plain oatmeal, bruised apples, or having to wait for new coffee to be made. I would bring your own creamer if staying more than 1 day.

close to Torrance, Manhattan, El Segundo beaches
