Hotel Guest Reviews of the Extended Stay America - Boston - Braintree

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Requested clean towels--hotel didn't have any. Expensive-smallest room for extended stay that I have stayed in. Old fruit on breakfast. If something ran out, including coffee before the posted breakfast time, oh well, just out.

Price is competitive in this area. Location is convenient.
One lady there has a bad attitude. Door automatically closed sounds a 'slam' - big noise!

Good deal though!

Priceline.com screwed up and sold me a room that wasn't available in the hotel's database. I made out, tho, cos I got a free upgrade to a room that resembled a studio apartment with an overlook to downtown Braintree.
Nope! Thanks for the mess up, Priceline...you got me a free upgrade!

Extended Stay is tucked away a few blocks from the Braintree Mall. Nice environment, nice rooms. Free coffee...essential. Would absolutely stay here again!

evening staff was rude need to provide dish washing liquid

Very clean! Nice having a fully stocked kitchen. Coffee/tea/oatmeal available in morning. Location is right off of highway but traffic on 93N into Boston is ALWAYS horrible.

The bathroom/bathtub was clean and up to date.
Room service never entered the room to service it.

spacious and clean room, and the somewhat contemporary design in some areas.
Not very close to public transportation (subway trains). A/C is a little noisy. I saw a small insect (looked like a huge ant) crawling on the kitchen floor.

The room is spacious. It comes with a kitchen, a small dining table and a desk. Kitchen and bathroom have laminate wood floor which makes the place look modern and clean (I hate carpet because it can hide all kinds of nasty things). The sleeping area is carpeted. There are several lights/lamps in the room, but they are all on the bright side. I wish they had 1 or 2 softer lights that can be turned on as night light when we sleep. This hotel isn't close to subway trains that go into the city of Boston. I am not sure if they have shuttle bus that brings you to the closest train station. There aren't too many amenities around the area, but a big shopping mall (south shore plaza) is walking distance to the hotel. Their morning grab-and-go breakfast is nothing fancy, it's mostly packaged food such as muffins, oatmeal bar, etc., but it is a nice addition and provides convenience for a rush morning. I booked my room last minute via a discounted hotel website. It didn't provide the hotel name until after I booked. The website says it is 1-star, so I was a little worried about the hotel's condition and cleanliness. But after I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is clean and looks like it's been recently renovated. The lobby area is tiny, but the rooms are spacious. Overall it exceeds my expectation for a 1-star hotel. It helps that I got a big discount on the room rate. The regular room rate is expensive for its location and star level. ...read more

Handy location between the Cape and Logan
One of the rooms had not been made up, and they did not have a spare, and housekeeping was gone for the day. Obviously just a mistake rather than standard practice, but still a pain.

Otherwise as respected for a cheap hotel.
