Hotel Guest Reviews of the Extended Stay America Boston - Braintree
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.June 7, 2013

Located in a safe suburban area south of Boston, this hotel was a quick 10 minute bus ride to the Quincy Adams T station (approximately 2 miles away). The hotel has clearly been updated/modernized in the past couple of years. Nice faux hardwood floors in kitchen and bathroom, and I also liked that the windows opened. The kitchen appliances were a bit dated, with the door handle on the refrigerator missing. Continental/grab n' go breakfast with pre-packaged muffins, granola bars, oatmeal bars, and coffee was convenient. Comparable hotels within the Boston city limits were priced at over
XXX per night for the date I stayed, whereas this hotel was only
XXX per night after taxes through Priceline. Definitely worth the
XXX in savings for a single night stay, but if you're staying longer it might be worth it to spent more to stay a bit closer. The last 238 bus towards the hotel departs the Quincy Adams station at around 10:15pm on weeknights, so if you're planning to stay in Boston until after 9:30pm while staying at this hotel then you'll have to take a cab back to the hotel. I'd recommend this hotel for solo travelers or families visiting Boston on a budget who don't mind an extra 45 minute commute in the mornings and evenings. ...

I like the spacious and clean room, which is rare for a one-star hotel. It was like that I lived in a 3-star hotel when I stayed in the room. The staff are generally friendly.

While the hotel was clean and the price of the room was decent, their pet fee was outrageous. We traveled with a 9 pound shih tzu and got charged $25 per night. The dog was never left alone in the room and therefore never messed anything. I can understand $10, but $25 plus tax is not good.

I thought the hotel was very homey like. All the employees where very welcoming. It was a lot better than the other hotels that I have been too. Its in a odd location but that is OK. I enjoyed my stay and thats all that matters.
