Hotel Guest Reviews of the Epic Miami, A Kimpton Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 2, 2013

I called around 10 at night and asked for a pot of coffee and they said they didn't have any coffee and did not offer to make any. There was no coffee in the room.

Had to stay for business, an event at the American Airlines Arena, home of the Miami HEAT. My room on the 25th had the most amazing view. The staff, from the valet parking to check in to the guy that took my luggage was outstanding. FREE coffee in the morning and FREE wine at night in the lobby. Will stay there anyday again.

The hotel met all of our expectations - the location was convenient to downtown Miami, Miami Beach, The Grove. The hotel seemed new, it was decorated nicely, modern and chic. The room was clean, spacious, with a gorgeous view of downtown and the waterways. The room had a great bathroom for sharing with two people: two sinks and a separate toilet with a privacy door. Two good restaurants are on site, with coffee/tea service in the lobby each morning and complimentary wine in the evening. The pool area was very chic with great views of the city and water; great service. ...

Very unhappy with stay, Check in at front desk was 45 minutes because could not find reservation and front desk staff were inexperienced. I was tired and the process could have been very simple. Resort manager was told and offered a free 2 night stay gift certificate because of all the problems stated above. Hotel needs to work on training staff much better.
