Hotel Guest Reviews of the Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The location
Except for Andrew at the front desk...........the morale must be low as employees always acted like they wanted to be elswhere. The breakfast was disgusting........the Mgr's Happy Hour was embarrasing......

I paid way to much for this place. Breakfast was tasteless. Unless you like burnt pancakes, cheap donuts, warm yogurt, greasy fake bacon and tater tots!!The Mgr's Happy hour featured Costco's finest 50lb bag of torilla chips and salsa everynight...........wait,one night they actual brought out the Costco 25lb bag of carrots w/watered down ranch dressing. The bartenders tend to the customers faster than a Ford Motor Co. assembly line.....always keep it moving...and no actually interaction with the paying customer!(Oh,yeah..keep those tips coming or your drink suffer!) Change the locks one day and emergency fire drills next....kids running around the floor above and you hear every flush..........besides those minor glitches,it's a GREAT location.......it is overpriced for what they offer. I would be embarressed to recommend it to anyone. My Uncle came for a 2hr visit and they charged him to park..and we were there for 12 days....He parked at Fort Derussey on his next visit as he did not want to go through the hotel hassle again. He said he would be sure to tell his friends and neighbors in Kanoehe and visitors from the mainland NOT to stay there. We took him to the Happy Hour fiasco so he could see the Costco experience for himself!! The Band that provided the entertainment was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Crazy good and engaged the crowd every night! If only they managed the place !!! ...read more

Location. Close to beach, shopping, restaurants and transportation. Hotel provides a full breakfast in the morning till 10am and a manager's reception with open bar plus snacks in the evenings. To avoid street noise, request a room on the upper floors
CostAlso rooms need a facelift.

Location. Close to beach, shopping, restaurants and transportation. Hotel provides a full breakfast in the morning till 10am and a manager's reception with open bar plus snacks in the evenings. To avoid street noise, request a room on the upper floors. We were on the 10th floor so noise was not a problem.

I have always pick my hotel based on their stars (4 & up). Due to our last minute planning, was not able to find any room for my desired hotels during Christmas holidays. So based on reviews decided to go with this 3.5 star hotel. OMG... Surpassed my
Too many kids in pool which wasn't appealing...

The room was perfect! Spacious with tons of room to accommodate everyone we had. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, willing to assist and answer any questions we had. The complimentary breakfast that came with our reservations was beyond what we
Nothing! The only problem was parking was $30/night which seemed quite pricey. But given the excellent customer service we were given and the accommodations, it was a small price to pay.

The hotel room was large and spacious. Not your typical hotel room I'm use to staying in at other places. The room itself had an actual bedroom, living room and bathroom. It also had a small kitchenette that was equipped with a sink, coffee maker, microwave, small fridge and hot water kettle. So it helped to cut cost by bringing our own beverages and snacks. The location of the hotel was ideal because everything was within walking distance for us. The hotel is located near many shops, restaurants and beaches a lot of tourist as well as locals frequent. ...read more

The location was great, right on the newly developed Beach Street shops, and literally only 100 yards from the beach!
Nothing, really.

We enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites, Waikiki. I picked this hotel for the location, the convenience of the separate living room for our daughter, and the included breakfast. We were not disappointed at all. It was easy to find, super easy to check-in, the staff was super friendly (remembered us by name), and the hotel is right next to the newly developed Beach Walk Street shops and dining. All main hotels and the big fancy stores are a block away, and Waikiki Beach is 100 yards away down a public access walk right to the beach. And the breakfast was very tasty and filling with the fast made to order omelet station. We really enjoyed our short stay here in Waikiki before we hopped to the next island!
