Open bar from 5-7:30! Free continental breakfast as well. Spacious rooms. I liked the living and bedroom separation.
I wasn't expecting to have to pay $40 for parking. We really tried to make those freebies (open bar and continental breakfast) count.

Overall, clean, nice, above average, but unexpected parking payment surprised me.

the rooms were spacious. the breakfast and the managers reception were great. we walked to the White House, Smithsonian, Lincoln etc, a little bit of a walk but the weather was great and it was enjoyable!!
the $40 to park

The Staff was great. At the desks, the restaurant, the bar etc. Although some of the furniture and vanity were worn, it was clean.

Staff were amazing- courtyard with waterfalls beautiful and they really are kid friendly!
Parking was confusing - down a block under another hotel but we are told parking in DC is hard to come by. Buffet was crowded!

Amazing staff, friendly and accommodating- kid friendly place with beautiful courtyard. It was a wonderful first time experience in DC

Great location. Room package included free parking.
While the complimentary cocktail hour and breakfast were convenient, they were very crowded and a bit chaotic. Wireless internet ($12.95/day) was spotty. Not worth paying for it.

Overall the hotel was perfect for our needs.

The best thing about this hotel is the room size - if you are traveling with a family (or more than 3 people) the suite style room is perfect for relaxing. Also the location is great - within walking distance to everything while set in a residential area
some of the furniture in the room had big chips missing of the edges ( If you cant replace I would at least touch up or turn pieces around so the damaged side is nearest the walls and not so visible

The location of this hotel is perfect ! You are within walking distance to everything you would want to see in DC; all the monuments; Georgetown; the white house. Dupont Circle is a trendy area with some great eateries and shopping. You can easily take advantage of the Embassy happy hour and then walk or catch a cab to some great close by restaurants. Embassy Suites are also a family favorite as the rooms are so comfortable if you are traveling with more than 3 people. Everyone still has room to relax and you are not tripping all over each other. ...read more
