Hotel Guest Reviews of the Embassy Suites San Diego - La Jolla

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location
Too many unsupervised kids running around- especially at breakfast. Elevators took very long- took stairs many times from the 9th floor.

Clean suite sized rooms- rooms in the corners have microwaves and refrigerators-- overnight parking 22.00

Clean rooms; convenient location
Restaurant is very poor and expensive. Did not recognize HHonors rewards due to Priceline booking.

Very convenient location. The staff was courteous. Parking is expensive. Restaurants are very expensive for the quality of the food.

The room is spacious even with 3 guests andt the hot buffet breakfast made the stay worth the rate I paid.
Manager reception in the evening provides pop corn and nachos is less classy though understand it caters for family and kids as well. I like the draft beer and wine bar.

Location is good, next to freeway 805 and Westfield shopping mall. Short drive to UCSD and the rates is worth for the service provided.

The hotel room itself was spacious and well laid out. The room features a comfortable living/working area with a desk, sofas, and an Ottomans, and then there is the back bedroom with a second TV. Views of both UTC outside and the Atrium inside.
The bathroom plumbing gurgles occasionally and does so loudly. As with most hotels, even higher end chains, the toilet and tub feel a bit cheap or plasticy. The maid service can be incomplete with the daily room service.

All in all it was an excellent experience for my first time staying in an Embassy Suites. Staff was generally friendly, the room was well appointed, and the trademark Embassy Suites Atrium on the inside was attractive as always.

My experience at The Embassy Suites was wonderful. The staff was friendly and the room was beautiful. The complimentary breakfast was very enjoyable. We will be staying with you in the future.
