Hotel Guest Reviews of the Embassy Suites Hotel Parsippany

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Suites and staff and breakfast bar

A very good hotel with courteous staff and spacious rooms in a location close to major highways. And a great value, too.

Loved the breakfast and atmosphere of the hotel.
The cleaning staff were quite noisy in the morning and the business room was occupied by teenagers all night, since you had to pay for wireless, I was unable to quickly check the directions I needed.

It was appealing to the eye, aesthetically soothing decor.
Will never stay here again. I asked for 2 doubles and got a King. Wifi was $12.95 a night! They charged me for bottled water I didn't consume, the pool was too small to accomodate all the guests, kids in the hot tub. The conditioner was used & 1/2 full

This hotel is pleasing to the eye as far as decor but I would never recommend it to anyone I know! The pool is full of kids unsupervised all day and they take over the hot tub. If you are on business and need wifi be prepared to spend an extra $12.95 a day for it and the connection is slow! The average price in their B Stecca restaurant is about $17 for the entree and the portions are extremely small! The chicken dish I had was about a 4 oz piece of chicken with about 2 oz of rice and a vegetable all very bland and not well seasoned. For that price one would expect a side salad or a slightly larger portion. The only other thing that comes with that entree is 2 slices of bread and the basket is never refilled so be sure you eat before going to dinner there. You will spend $50 and walk away hungry. The continental breakfast buffet sits too long in the steam tables and the pancakes are dry and hard, the sausage is cold, and the eggs are slightly green in tint. Be careful if you want to pay cash rather than having anything charged on your card because even if they tell you they won't, and you give them cash upfront, they will charge your card anyway. I had to carefully scrutinize my bill and go to the front to have items removed like the water they put in every room that we never touched because I won't pay $5 for a bottle of water. They automatically charge and if you don't watch you will end up paying for it. I went to take a shower and the conditioner bottle was only half full so I had a used conditioner. I normally rate hotels very fairly and when they are pleasant and the ammenities are adequate I am the first one to give raving reviews. But in this case I have to give this hotel an overall 4 out of 10. It is one of the worst stays I have had in all my travels. ...read more

All the rooms were mini suites which was a plus. The hotel's location was very accessible to the highways and the staff was very friendly. There is also a specified time allotted just for adults in the pool which was great.
The hotel is very dated. Carpet around the hotel and in the rooms need to be changed. The pool is not cleaned as often as possible; there was hair everywhere.

Inside appearance, and great breakfast included in price.
The mixed drinks at their bar were over priced at $14 each!

Great hotel, inside atrium beatful, included breakfast very nice. I'd book again, but would not buy a mixed drink at their bar for $14 each.

Beautiful interior atrium with fountains and fake river.
The hotel room doors all face the common area and it was quite loud at night - especially since we had small children with us this was a negative.

It is nice to have spacious rooms with small refrig. Ample free parking nearby entrances.
Although this hotel had free wireless internet over Xmas, that offer disappeared this time around

This is a true value play if you are visiting in or around northern NJ. Close to all major highways and interstates. Easy on and off to hotel. You get the same services and benefits as business travelers at significantly less expense. Full free breakfast with decent hours of service is great for a single guest and even better for a family.
