Hotel Guest Reviews of the Embassy Suites Hotel New Orleans

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

A few of the employees were a little not negative people.
YES!

After 20 years traveling to many states and countries with the Military plus many personal vacations I can say without a doubt that this was definitely one of the top three worst hotel experiences of my life. The pool and sauna were closed due to construction, however they were not closed or advertised as being closed when I booked the room. The hotel was semi clean at best. My room smelled like mold. The construction was very inconvenient and again not advertised when I booked the room. The hotel advertised cooked to order breakfast but only offered a buffet style which made me sick the one day I ate it so I didn't go back to get sick again. I could never find anyone in the Starbucks lounge to even try to get a cup of coffee. House keeping did not speak or understand English to the point that when I told them I was fine, just take out the trash they had to go get someone to interpret. Priceline suckered me in with "Low Prices" and an initial claim that my booking was refundable, however after clicking on the hotel there are statements in obscure places that say non-refundable so I was forced to take this reservation even after finding out that if I had gone to the Marriot Courtyard's home page I would have saved more than $150 for my four night stay and would have had the option to cancel and get a full refund. Additionally my friend who stayed at the Marriot had a great time, loved the hotel and amenities, and never got sick from the food. To Quote her, "Now don't you feel like an Idiot for using Priceline"! I never intend to use Priceline, Embassy, or Hilton again. Thank you for making my vacation a little less enjoyable. ...read more

the bed is really comfortable. there is a balcony that we can see the scene outside.
I have not known about what is the additional 75$ charging when I checked in.

Totally it is really good. However, it's difficult to find a parking. The valet parking is really expensive.

The helpful staff that met all of my needs/requests with courtesy and friendliness.
Not at all. Everything was great.

The hotel was located close enough to the action but far enough away for peace and quiet. The room and view were spectacular and I was comfortable my entire stay. I would definitely stay in this hotel again and recommend it to others.

Good Location.
Very rude staff.

A very nice young lady checked us in. I asked the lady that helped us if there was anything in the main building and the man standing next to her shouted no! I felt like she was just about to help us if he had not jumped in. Very rude.

THE LOCATION WAS GREAT FOR OUR STAY. I'VE STAYED THERE BEFORE .
HOWEVER, I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS FACILITY, I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISRESPECTED IN MY 40 YEARS AS I WAS ON THIS TRIP BY THIS INDIVIDUAL.

THE HOTEL WAS WONDERFUL. MY SON AND I HAD SUCH A NICE TIME THERE IN MAY, I DECIDED TO BRING MY CO WORKERS BACK FOR A WEEKEND TO CELEBRATE MY 40TH BIRTHDAY. DUE TO A FAMILY REUNION AND SOME OTHER EVENTS HAPPENING IN THE CITY, THE HOTEL WAS OVERBOOKED. INSTEAD OF JUST SAYING SO, THE HOTEL SECURITY MANAGER WAS VERY BRASH, RUDE AND QUESTIONED MY INTELLIGENCE WHEN I REMINDED HER THAT ONE OF OUR ROOMS WAS PREPAID AND THAT I WAS ASSURED AVAILABILITY OF THE OTHER ROOM WHICH APPARENTLY WAS DOUBLE BOOKED IN ERROR. HER NAME WAS DENIRA AND I WAS HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED AND SHOCKED AS WAS THE OTHER FRONT OFFICE PERSONNEL THAT WITNESSED HER BEHAVIOR IN FRONT OF THE GUESTS. WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS FACILITY. ...read more
