Hotel Guest Reviews of the El Cid Granada Hotel & Country Club

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The pools are warm and the rooms are spacious.
Deadbolt states "Occupied" when locked, "Vacant" when unlocked. Only lockable from inside, so everyone knows when you're not there. Security issue.

This is a decent hotel to stay at if you find a fabulous price and you're not looking for a luxurious room. For the Mexican experience, it's worth it. However, the "Vacant" sign on the door when you leave is a bit of a security risk for valuables that don't fit in the safe. The pools are really warm and the location is great. Great for kids because of the price and size of the rooms. If you want a romantic getaway, you'll be disappointed. ...read more
