Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Located within an easy drive to Crater Lake and other attractions. Nice hotel for the price. Pet friendly. Staff even friendlier. No complaints here. Water pressure in the shower will scrub all dirt off of you! Nice places to eat within a few miles drive.

I do like the hotel a lot! The breakfast is simple but good! The room is warm and just like home! It's by a beautiful river, you can take a walk and enjoy the surrounding!

I enjoyed my stay at the Edgewater Inn. I only had time to walk down to the river once, for just a few minutes, but it was beautiful. The room was clean, nice, nice furniture, comfortable bed. The two front desk ladies whom I encountered were both very nice & friendly. The continental breakfast was good. If you're into fishing, the Rogue is known for that. If not, Shady Cove is about 20 miles or so from Medford, & maybe 25-30 from Jacksonville, which is a great little touristy town which got its original start during gold rush days. Sixty miles to the north is Crater Lake, a must-see for anyone who hasn't been there before. Eagle Point, just to the south of Shady Cove about 10 miles or so, has a great little museum, & the Butte Creek Mill, a still-operating grist mill. At White City, between Eagle Point & Medford, is Camp White, built around the time of WWII. There is a small museum there, too. At one time there was a German POW camp somewhere near Touvelle Park on the Rogue River, that was a part of Camp White. In the White City area are the Table Rocks, which offer nice hikes to the top with great views of the the beautiful Rogue Valley. There are several beautiful lakes in the area, including Lake of the Woods, Lost Lake, Willow Lake, Emigrant Lake, & Howard Prairie. Climbing Mt. McLoughlin (aka Mt. Pitt) is a possibility during summer months. Ashland, the farthest south town before leaving Oregon, offers the Shakespearean Festival & lovely Lithia Park. Don't miss taking a drink of Lithia water at the designated fountain in the park! A lesser-known beauty spot is Mill Creek Falls, near Prospect, which is north of Shady Cove, on the way to Crater Lake. Still farther north is Union Creek, a small forest ranger village. Be sure to stop at Beckie's Cafe & have a piece of her famous pie. You won't be sorry! After a long day of sightseeing, shopping, boating, fishing, hiking, museum-hopping, or whatever, you'll be glad to return to the quiet of Edgewater Inn! ...
