we liked the hotel and would go back there again. Hallways open, new carpeting, upbeat.

In general, very pleased with our stay at this hotel. Room was beautiful, well-cleaned when we arrived, and better appointed than any 2-star hotel I've ever been to. Microwave and refrigerator in every room is wonderful - especially for a trip like ours (we were moving our college son into his first apartment which needed lots of work and elbow-grease, so we needed a decent room to relax in and have simple snacks and meals in-room). We were a little disappointed in housekeeping (we stayed two nights and never had any cleaning, fresh towels, etc., had to go to front desk to request clean towels ourselves) but it's possible that they were just respecting my husband's privacy (we had a stressful morning and midday, so at 2 he decided to take a nap, and maids were just then cleaning rooms near ours, hadn't gotten to us yet and knew he was in the room since they had to let us in). Lots of trouble with room key cards - had to go to front desk 4 different times to get cards rekeyed, and still needed maids to let us in. Continental breakfast was disappointing. Coffee was AWFUL and many items were not restocked like they should have been. On Monday, almost everything was gone by 8 am and no sign of staff restocking a thing. Staff was friendly but not very professional. One girl arrived for work (at the front desk) on Monday morning and was absolutely slovenly - wet hair, no makeup, wrinkled clothes, etc. Hopefully she fixed her appearance after we left, because she would not have given a good first impression of the hotel at all. I rather think that we picked a weekend when management or experienced staff just happened to be gone and the place was being run by young, inexperienced staff. We have stayed here before and never experienced any of these problems, so I do think it was just a matter of timing. For the price, the room was clean and far exceeded our expectations, so our "problems" are really just nitpicking ways they could improve. ...

Nice hotel, but upon checking out received a receipt that was $47 less than I paid Priceline for the room for 2 nights. I will never use Priceline for anything again. I can get a better deal myself.

All newly remodeled rooms make this a nice stay. Pool is small but nice. Staff was very helpful and nice. Bowling alley and food are less than a block away. A sauna in the pool area would have been nice but a great place to stay

This hotel was dirty, cobwebs in the corners(huge cobwebs), cable wire for TV was ripped out of cable box, bathroom door had to be forced passed the toilet in order to close the door, pieces of paper and waste on the carpet, hallway floor was filthy, pool had bugs and other crud floating in it, the hot tub was filled in and covered (no longer exists), the coffee was horrible and rancid, the juice tasted fermented, etc.

The hotel has been recently updated with new room furniture, and carpeting. The staff was friendly, and helpful.
