Hotel Guest Reviews of the Econo Lodge Pico Rivera

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

yes, lots of street hookers your hotel has no problem giving them a room. One in particular was a tranny named Jocelyn. She was soliciting abd stating that she stays there all the time and gets great deals especially on weekends. I wa put off by that.

The price.
Located in a sketchy part of town, lots of street noise, smoke from other patrons would come in thru A/C vents, thin walls, substandard bed, no coffee maker in room, no swimming pool/hot tub.

As mentioned above, the hotel was located in a sketchy part of town. In fact, as soon as we pulled into the parking lot a sheriff pulled in behind our car and asked what we were doing there?!?!?! Not a good way to start. The hotel itself is older and obviously well used, probably on par with Motel 6, etc. if the Motel 6's rooms were similarly worn down. For some reason, it was ranked higher starwise on Priceline and reviews didn't mention the general skeeziness of the hotel. Suffice it to say it was workable for this specific trip solely for cost reasons, but I wouldn't come back to stay at this hotel again voluntarily. ...read more

The hotel was clean, the staff was pleasent, and my room smelled great. I was really worried because of the area, but the stay was pleasent and i will stay there again.

The new decor and spacious rooms are really nice. The bed is very very comfortable.
No.

Conveniently located near the freeway. OC and downtown LA are an easy drive. A well know coffee shop, convenience store, and restaurants are all within walking distances. The decor in the room is very nice and the room is at a great price.

I paid for a room with a hide-a-bed sofa. Well, there was a hide-a-bed in the room but it was unusable. The bed was broken down and there was a coffee table sitting in front of it that had a granite top. The thing must have weighed 150 - 200 pounds. As I was scanning through the television channels I came across a porn channel that had no parent lock-out. If a child had been flipping through the channels he or she would have seen the same porn show that I did. I would not recommend this motel to anyone!!! ...read more

the location is close to freeways and restaurants close by
allot of noise on telegraph road, however ear plugs help! the construction in front of the hotel on telegraph road was a pain in the #$$ there putting a median which won't help the hotel when trying to enter or exit

the hotel met my basic needs: a place to shower and sleep,oh yeah hot water too! the mini fridge and the microwave helped allot, I've stayed at other hotels in the area so far this one was better then the others. there's no 5* hotels in the area so don't have high expectations you have to settle for what's there, as far as I'm concerned if my basic need are met I'm good with that, would recommend this hotel it's reasonable for what you get! ...read more

The room was better than I expected.
The only thing I didnt like was the old tv.. I am sure they can afford to upgrade to give better picture and sound to the customers staying. Oh one of the locks on the door didnt work as well. Thats kinda of scary!

Very nice place to stay if you have to be in that area. Was very clean and reasonable for the price.

Comfortable bed, quiet, & very clean room (except carpet needs deep cleaning).
Bathroom fan broken, & shabby mishmash of old furniture. Just
toast & coffee for "breakfast".

Very good for the cost. Quiet, comfortable bed, & clean room. A/C, TV, & fridge worked but bathroom fan didn't. Carpet needs to be deep cleaned & the furniture is mismatched & shabby. Toast is the "breakfast".
