Hotel Guest Reviews of the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Forest

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location was good. AC worked well and room was clean enough.
Musty or funky smell of the room. Staff was not organized.

This is one of those hotels that if you just need a place to sleep, nothing fancy, and low cost or on a budget, this may be the one for you. Do not go in their looking for the wow factory or with high expectations. Our room smelled bad even though it was non smoking. Must have been because adjoining rooms were. Wall paper was peeling and curling at the edges and comforters look like the never get cleaned. It was just a cheap place to sleep for us nothing more. Tons of flys in the room, guess that's why they had a fly swatted in it. Towels are thin and worn. But other than that room was adequate for sleeping at a budget price. ...read more

The hotel was overbooked and we did not get to stay there. No attempt was made to find another accommodation.

Staff was friendly but unaccustomed to checking in Priceline guests, so check in took a very long time. Non smoking room had cigarette odor and burns in comforter. No fitted sheets on bed; sheets got all angled up during the night and was uncomfortable.

Below average comfort and quality. Would be passable for a one star, but falls short in comparison to other 2 star hotels. Breakfast was sparse.

The girl that checked us in. She was helpful.
See review below.

The hotel was not what we expected. The reservation I printed said microwave, refrigerator they were not there..... there was no iron or hairdryer. the girl had to help us get ice, because the machine was cranky. She had to come and help us get into the room the lock did not work consistently. She warned us that that is the room with the bad ceiling over the tub. We skipped the breakfast. Nothing but breads and waffles. No protein. Never again. ...read more
