This hotel was wonderful. we had a royal room in the 95 section. My 5yr old noticed the princess decor every day. Clean and close enough to desk and pool. Also "quiet pool" in our court. Beautiful,romantic,relaxing. Fun!
Usually only had 2-3 clerks checking people in and 2 concierge to help w/ tickets and questions. Would have like to see more staff at front desk area. I noticed there were not many bellmen to help bring bags to desk. Guests seemed irritated with this.

This hotel IS very spread out. Lots of garden style rooms on the property and I only saw two pools. So be sure to ask for rooms close to the lobby area and be prepared to do some walking. Disney bus depots around the property make getting around easy though. Gift shop has all you need from shaving cream to swimwear. I saw kids playing dance dance revolution in the atrium right by the front door. Food hall only had two toasters that you would have in your own kitchen for toasting bagels and bread.Takes too long when several people are waiting to use. Should have a larger/commercial toaster to use. Pool was great. Food bar at the big pool was awesome. You will really enjoy this place. Great bike rentals and even small boat rentals. ...read more

It's Disney! The princess details around the room are awesome, and the firework display behind the beds is really cute. Staff was always very nice and helpful, and very quick to help if you needed anything. Food was great at the foodcourt, too!

The only way to get downtown is by ferry, which takes about half an hour once you're on the boat. Around dinnertime there can be a pretty big line, so expect to wait half an hour or so, too. The ferry stops running at 11, so then you can take a bus back (but busses only run after 11 when the ferry stops).Otherwise, walk around! Everything we saw at this resort was BEAUTIFUL, and just walking around when we needed a little downtime was great. There's also daily pool parties if you have kids, and nightly disney movies projected at specific locations. There's a s'mores campfire on certain nights, too! Although still a moderate resort, it had two queen beds. The theming is outstanding an it has a very laid back feel.
The only thing that was remotely unpleasant was the squeek our bathroom door made. However, it wasn't enough to call on so I will not say it was a negative.

This hotel has 2 distinct feels, the old plantation style area and the backwoods bayou. It has a laid back atmosphere and several pools. Tere are alos at least 3 hammocks n the island with the main pool. Also on this island are a good sized playground, the campfire area, and the fishing hole. The do play movies at night outdoors. Everyone was very welcoming. The lobby, room, and grounds were so clean that my infant could crawl all over the place.
Check-in was 3:00 and when we got there at 4:30 our room wasn't ready, so the check in stalled and search for about five minutes and found us a room in a GREAT location.

Definitely stay here if you have time to stay at the hotel and enjoy the amenities. Just a walk around the grounds is entertaining, but you can fish and bike ride, and the pool would keep any kid entertained for hours!
